Idiosyncratic - Through the Seasons

from PNWFS Demo Reel by David Lee Grossman

/

about

An experimental tale of a man trying to escape his idiosyncrasy - a significant substance addiction and nihilistic view of life. Although he tries to get away from it, he can’t escape its pull and it turns into his downfall.

In this scene, the main character’s travels behind several colored flags, symbolizing the passing of the seasons as he tries and initially succeeds in escaping from the drugs and addiction. Everything is going well, but then winter appears as he begins smoking again, the claws of his addiction grabbing him again and pulling him back to his previous life.
